Awards Process

The AWC conducts an open nomination and election process. Anybody (member or not) may nominate a candidate for an award. Final nominations are chosen by the Awards Committee from those submitted, as well as any others the committee may find appropriate.  Once the final nominees are chosen, each member of the AWC votes for the winners.

Winning an award in a previous year, does not preclude a candidate from winning an award in the current year.

The results are announced in January of each year.
